Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) staff and Local Workforce Development Board (LWDB) staff work every day to connect job seekers with the Minnesota employers who need them.
DEED and Minnesota’s 16 LWDBs are Leading CareerForce Partners and they work in coordination to serve employers through assistance with getting job openings posted on the state’s labor exchange for no fee, help matching employers with training program participants and other CareerForce customers with the right skills and connecting employers with specialized services like labor market analysis and workforce strategy consultation.
Another very common way that CareerForce helps employers recruit and hire the workers they need is through hosting job fairs and other hiring events featuring employers with open positions.
