CareerForce is all about partnership. Forming new and growing existing partnerships helps us serve Minnesota job seekers and employers even better. CareerForce is one unified network of private, public and nonprofit partners throughout Minnesota. Leading CareerForce partners include the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) and Local Workforce Development Boards throughout Minnesota along with the Governor’s Workforce Development Board (GWDB). 

Below is a look at just some of the many partnerships we’ve highlighted over the past year.  

Partnership with local community-based organizations:  

• Leading CareerForce Partner Workforce Development Inc. builds inclusive workforce partnership 

Partnership with Minnesota employers: 

• Xcel Energy PowerUp provides Nicole an opportunity to make a huge career change—and help Minnesota transition from coal to clean energy 

• Drive for 5 grad now working as RN at Twin Cities hospital and it was made possible by a partnership with Essentia Health, Allina Health, the University of Minnesota and Anoka-Ramsey Community College 

Partnership with local school districts on career exploration and hiring events: 

• CareerForce engages with students for career exploration and employment opportunities 

Partnership with Minnesota Department of Education:

• The CareerForce Corner initiative brings CareerForce resources to 65 (and counting) public libraries around Minnesota.
