Tim Labeau is a Veterans Employment Specialist at CareerForce in Cambridge. He shared this story with us about Jerry, a veteran who served as a Medical Platoon Sergeant in the U.S. Army and who was looking for assistance translating his military skills to a civilian career.

"I enrolled Jerry Johnson into DEED’s Veterans Employment services program. I provided some insight to the various forms of resumes....When applying to private job postings, we reviewed them to make sure that the Jerry had used the same phrases and keywords in the posting. I sent Jerry various employment postings, including a posting with Metro Dentalcare and he was hired on July 13."
