Ramsey County Workforce Development Board

The Ramsey County Workforce Development Board, known as the Workforce Innovation Board of Ramsey County, is one Minnesota’s 16 local workforce boards, designated under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014.  The Board is comprised of a majority of business representatives, as well workforce, education and training, government, economic, and community stakeholders.  We are dedicated to quality workforce development endeavors in our community. Working in partnership with the City of Saint Paul, the Board harnesses the power of business, government, economic development, education and the community to develop strategic solutions that address employer and job seeker needs. The Board guides the design of local workforce development throughout Ramsey County, including oversight and operation of CareerForce locations.

We envision an engaged and diverse workforce, where all individuals, regardless of background, have or are on a path to meaningful employment and a family sustaining wage, and all employers are able to fill jobs in demand.  If you are interested in joining our Board, more information can be found here.
