Dakota-Scott Workforce Services has many programs and services that can help you look for a job or change careers.  We provide free basic employment and training services at CareerForce locations, on-line and virtually.

If you are interested in additional assistance to gain employment, there are Employment & Training Programs which provide more individualized in-depth services at no cost.  These programs require eligibility for program participation. 

• General Employment & Training Program
  Supports job seekers with significant barriers to employment, including low income, public assistance recipients, long-term unemployed or under-employed individuals, ex-felons, and people experiencing homelessness.
• Dislocated Worker Program
  Supports workers find new jobs as quickly as possible who have been laid off through no fault of their own or have been notified that a layoff is pending.

Residency
You must live in Dakota County for enrollment in program services in Burnsville or West St. Paul.
