Intro to Medical Office Training

The Intro to Medical Office class provides Microsoft Office and medical terminology training (up to 4 college credits!) at Lake Superior College in a supported learning environment with wrap around career navigation assistance. Class starts April 29th and space is limited so please have interested applicants contact us asap! Employers will participate in the class and the goal is for all graduates to enter employment after completing the training. The class is offered in a hybrid format with most instruction taking place in person and some of the Microsoft Office content class periods over Zoom.

Outcomes

Attainment of up to four college credits, one for medical terminology and up to three for Microsoft Office/Business Computers. The goal is for students to complete the training and exit to employment in Medical Office roles or other jobs using the skills built in class.
