Kickstart your career in welding with this free, hands-on training opportunity at the Lower Sioux Hemp Campus in Morton, MN. This in-person program is designed to provide participants with foundational welding skills while earning valuable college credit.
Participants will earn nine college credits, including coursework in Blueprint Reading and Welding Principles and Fundamentals. Training combines classroom instruction with hands-on experience to prepare you for in-demand careers in manufacturing and skilled trades.

- Class Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Eligibility qualifications include one of the following: individuals of color, individuals lacking stable housing, individuals with a criminal record, individuals without a high school diploma or equivalent, individuals with a disability, individuals who have been unemployed for 26 or more consecutive weeks, individuals with limited English or Math proficiency, or individuals at or below the 200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines.
Students will earn six college credits, including Blueprint Reading and Welding Principles and Fundamentals.
