We are proud to partner with the Lower Sioux Indian Community and Minnesota West Community & Technical College to offer a comprehensive Information Technology Career Pathways Training program.

Program Details:
Location: Lower Sioux Recreation Center, Morton, MN
Dates: August 27 – December 18, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Schedule: Wednesdays (Hands-on lab) and Thursdays (Classroom lectures). Plus TBD additional group dates.

Upon successful completion, students will earn an Information Technology Certificate from Minnesota West Community & Technical College. This training provides foundational knowledge and skills for in-demand IT careers and is a valuable first step toward a future in the technology field.

How to Participate

This is a free program for qualified participants. Please fill out our OUR INTERESTFORM and indicate Information Tecnology as your program of interest or contact the Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council to see if you qualify.

Eligibility qualifications include one of the following: individuals of color, individuals lacking stable housing, individuals with a criminal record, individuals without a high school diploma or equivalent, individuals with a disability, individuals who have been unemployed for 26 or more consecutive weeks, individuals with limited English or Math proficiency, or individuals at or below the 200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines. 

Outcomes

Upon successful completion, students will earn an Information Technology Certificate from Minnesota West Community & Technical College. This training provides foundational knowledge and skills for in-demand IT careers and is a valuable first step toward a future in the technology field.
