Free! Professional Leadership Training For New Americans
Tuesday, September 15, 2026 to Thursday, December 3, 2026
Tuesday: 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in person
Wednesday: 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in person
Thursday: 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in person

Eligibility:

  • Be born outside the US
  • Be able to attend all sessions
  • Be able to pass an English assessment

Expand your career potential by strengthening your leadership and management skills during our 12-week Professional Leadership Training. This class is designed for New Americans with U.S. work experience across industries.

Alongside a community of supportive peers from around the world, you will increase your confidence and abilities in presentation skills, employee management, networking and digital literacy. Throughout this experiential class and after graduation, we provide employment guidance to find a job, get a promotion, or identify additional training as needed.

How to Participate

 Step 2) Attend an orientation session

Step 3) Fill out an application

Step 4) Pass a digital literacy assessment

Step 5) Pass an English assessment

Outcomes

Students who complete this program will:

  • Participate in professional mock interviews
  • Conduct an informational interview in the industry they want to pursue
  • Receive support from a Career Advancement Specialist to help advance in thier career
