Go MN! is a federal grant-funded employment program that provides an opportunity to explore competitive integrated employment for those who are working in subminimum wage employment or for youth and students who are contemplating subminimum wage employment.
Go MN! utilizes the Progressive Employment model developed by the Institute for Community Inclusion at University of Massachusetts Boston to help participants explore work and help local businesses connect with job seekers. The Progressive Employment model is a dual-customer, team approach that uses work-based learning strategies to meet both the needs of businesses and job seekers with barriers to employment.
Go MN! participants work with a dedicated team of specialists who help to navigate services, connect with relevant businesses, and coordinate work-based learning activities, based on each participant’s unique situation.
We are currently serving participants in the following locations: Apple Valley, Rochester, Willmar, Winona and Woodbury.
