Throughout this Pathway, participants will work on their administrative and clerical skills. The Pathway will include great opportunities to network with employer partners and prepare participants for mid- to upper-level administrative positions. Participants will receive specialized Microsoft Office Suite training and earn a customer service certificate.

Classes will primarily be in-person at the PPL Career Center with some classes taking place virtually.

Office Specialist Pathway | Project for Pride in Living
Qualifications include:
- 18 months of clerical work experience
- Resident of the city of Minneapolis
- Cannot be a prior or current employee of Hennepin County
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Right to work in the US
- Proficient math, reading, and digital literacy skills
Outcomes
Participants will be prepared for mid- to upper-level administrative and clerical positions, as well as have the opportunity to network with employer partners.
