Onsite at St. Paul College. 6 week training, 1 night/week, plus 100 hours clinical experience (2.5 weeks - full time shifts - to follow training at a Twin Cities healthcare facility).
Not afraid of blood or needles? Like working with people? Prepare for a career working in health care, in a medical clinic or hospital.
Phlebotomy Techs draw blood samples and prepare them for lab tests, research, donation and other medical purposes. These jobs pay well and are great for workers who like caring for people. SEIU Healthcare MN & IA, a union in our area, helped us design this training, and our employer partner is ready to hire!
In addition, our FREE program for qualifying individuals provides many specialized services that meet the needs of busy people.

How to Participate
Contact us today for eligibility requirements & to learn more! Participants should have a HS diploma or GED, should be seeking employment or need help finding sustainable employment, be at or below 200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines adjusted for respective family size; and/or a person of color. Need to pass basic math and reading assessment.
Outcomes
Full time union job with livable wage and benefits working in health care. Phlebotomy certificate after training and clinicals.
