Entrepreneurship Training for Immigrants and Refugees

Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. In person

Eligibility Requirements

Be Born Outside US
Attend an orientation session
Pass English Assessment
Pass Google Docs assessment
Can attend all classes
Has a business they want to improve or an idea they want to pursue

Class Topics include:

Writing a business plan
Marketing
Business financial statements
Funding types and business structures
Developing your pitch
Networking and connection to resources

Students will write a business plan and then develop a pitch that will be delivered to a panel of expert business professionals.

Students will also take the US Entrepreneurship Exam to earn their US Entrepreneurship certificate.

Step 4) Pass an English assessment
